Coming soon… Ron Dante on In Search of a Song!

Did a couple of great interviews this week. One with Ron Dante, who worked for Don Kirshner since he was sixteen years old in New York City at the Brill Building. Ron was the voice of “The Archies” with songs like “Sugar, Sugar”, and wrote tons of songs, and jingles for television and radio, as well as later producing (and singing backup vocals) on Barry Manilow’s first 9 albums, worked on Broadway, and basically was a big contributor to music. It’s fantastic to learn more about these people that are somewhat unknown, but have helped create American music in so many ways. So look forward to seeing it sometime soon!
